Radr Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 24/10/2026
These Terms and Conditions set out the rules for using Radr, the mobile app and the websites at radr.izing.pt (including ajuda.radr.izing.pt). By creating an account or using Radr, you accept these terms. If you have any questions, write to us at contact@radr.izing.pt.
How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Definitions
In this text, these words mean the following:
- You or User: the person who creates an account and uses Radr, usually a professional driver who provides services through mobility platforms.
- Radr: the Radr mobile app and the websites at radr.izing.pt, including the Help Centre.
- Services: everything Radr offers you, described in clause 1.
- Mobility platform: a third-party app through which you provide transport services and receive trip offers. The mobility platforms Radr supports are shown in the app, under Accounts › Apps.
- Suppliers: the companies that help us provide the Services (for example, hosting and infrastructure, sending emails and SMS, payments and subscription management), described by category in the Privacy Policy.
- We or the company: Horizonte Soluções LDA, with tax number (NIF) 519346033 and registered office in Porto, Portugal, which operates Radr.
- Content: the texts, images, reading rules, calculations, notices and help articles we put in Radr, and what you send us (for example, reports, ideas and screenshots).
1. Services
1.1. Radr helps you decide whether a trip offer is worth it. When an offer appears on the screen of a supported mobility platform, Radr reads it, does the maths (for example, value per km, value per hour and profit after your costs) and shows a card over the screen with the figures and a colour: green (“This one pays”), yellow (“Think it over”) or red (“Let it go”). If you want, it also reads the result out loud.
1.2. To read offers, Radr uses your phone's accessibility features, which you only turn on after reading the “Turn on accessibility” notice and tapping “Agree and continue”. When reading offers, Radr:
- only reads the supported mobility platforms and no other app;
- reads the text of the offer and an image of that app's screen, which is read on the phone. Some images may be sent to Radr to improve the reading, as the Privacy Policy explains; the others are deleted straight away;
- does not accept or decline trips and does not tap anything for you.
You can stop the reading whenever you want: pause Accounts, switch off the Radar in the app or turn Radr off in your phone's accessibility settings.
1.3. Radr also gives you, among other things: Accounts (targets, vehicle costs and weekly profit goal), the “Your trips” history, the Help Centre with notices, and the “Report a problem” and “Suggest an idea” forms. What goes to the server and what stays on the phone is explained in the Privacy Policy.
1.4. The figures are estimates. The values, the profit and the colours are calculated from what Radr read on the screen and the numbers you entered (targets, costs, consumption, energy prices). The reading may fail or be incomplete, and the mobility platform may change what it shows. So the card is an aid: the decision to accept or decline a trip is always yours, and always check the offer in the mobility platform itself.
1.5. Radr is not affiliated with the mobility platforms, is not sponsored or approved by them and does not control them. We do not decide the prices, the offers, the commissions, the rules or how those platforms assign you trips, and we are not responsible for what they do.
1.6. Radr needs a compatible phone, an internet connection for some features and the permissions your phone's system asks for (for example, notifications, display over other apps, run in the background and accessibility). Without these permissions, some features do not work.
1.7. Mobility platforms change their apps often. We update the reading rules to keep up with those changes, but there may be periods when reading a platform fails until we have a fix. When we learn of a problem like this, we post a notice in the Help Centre.
1.8. We may improve, change or stop offering features of Radr. If a change removes an important feature from a paid plan, we will tell you with reasonable notice.
2. Registration
2.1. To use Radr you need an account. To create one, you must have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
2.2. You sign in with your email, your phone number and, when available, other methods the app shows. With email or phone there is no password: each time, we send you a 6-digit code by email or SMS, which is only valid for a short time and only for that sign-in.
2.3. You must use sign-in methods that are yours and keep your account details correct. A name on the profile is required. Each account is personal: do not share or sell it.
2.4. When you sign in, we open a session on that phone. In Profile › Settings › Security you can see where your account is open and sign out on other phones. If you lose your phone or think someone has accessed your account, sign out on the other phones and write to us at contact@radr.izing.pt.
2.5. You are responsible for what is done with your account, including access to the sign-in methods you use (for example, your email and your phone, where the codes are sent).
2.6. You can delete your account whenever you want, in Profile › Settings › Privacy and data › “Delete account”. Deleting the account is permanent and does not cancel the subscription: cancel it first in the store where you bought it (clause 5).
3. User obligations
3.1. You agree to use Radr in accordance with the law, these terms and the rules that apply to your activity in your country.
3.2. Road safety. Do not handle your phone while driving in any way prohibited by the traffic rules of the country where you drive. Set Radr up with the car stopped. Your attention to the road always comes first.
3.3. Mobility platform rules. You have a contract with each mobility platform you use. It is up to you to check that using Radr is compatible with those platforms' rules and to follow them. We are not responsible for any measures a platform takes regarding your account.
3.4. Third-party data. Offers may show passenger data, such as pickup and drop-off addresses or the passenger rating. You may only use them for your transport activity, in compliance with data protection law. When you share an offer (for example, with “Share offer”) or attach screenshots to a report, do not include passenger data that is not needed.
3.5. You may not:
- copy, modify, decompile or try to obtain Radr's source code, except where the law allows it;
- get around the subscription, the free trial, the sending limits or the security measures;
- use Radr in an automated way, overload our servers or try to access other people's accounts;
- send us content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading or infringes other people's rights;
- resell Radr or make it available to third parties without our written permission.
3.6. If you do not comply with these terms, we may suspend or close your account, depending on how serious the breach is. Whenever possible, we will warn you first and explain why.
4. Company obligations
4.1. We undertake to:
- provide the Services with the care and skill of a diligent provider;
- handle your data as explained in the Privacy Policy;
- keep the reading rules up to date and fix the errors we become aware of within a reasonable time;
- answer your support requests through contact@radr.izing.pt and the Help Centre forms;
- tell you about relevant changes to Radr, to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
4.2. We do our best to keep Radr working at all times, but we do not guarantee that it will work without interruptions or errors. There may be downtime for maintenance, failures of suppliers, the network or the phone, or changes in the mobility platforms that prevent reading for some time.
5. Payments
5.1. Plans. To use the radar you need an active plan or the free trial. There are monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly plans. Current prices are shown in the app, under “See plans”, and in the app store before you confirm the purchase.
5.2. Purchase in the app store. Subscriptions are bought and paid for in the app store where you installed Radr, with the payment method you have there. The payment is handled by the store, under its own terms: we do not receive or store your card details.
5.3. Renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, on the same plan, until you cancel it. If the price changes, the store will notify you in advance, under its own rules.
5.4. Cancellation. The subscription is cancelled in the store where you bought it, in the subscriptions of your account in that store, not in the app. Cancellation follows that store's rules. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the subscription does not renew. Deleting the account or uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
5.5. Refunds. Refund requests follow the rules of the store where you bought the subscription and are made there.
5.6. Free trial. You can try the radar for 7 days, without a card, with “Try it free” in your Profile. The free trial can only be used once per account and per phone. At the end there is no automatic charge: the radar stops and, to continue, you choose a plan.
5.7. End of access. When the subscription or the free trial ends, the radar stops reading offers and the app shows the plans. Your account, your Accounts and your history remain, under the terms of the Privacy Policy.
5.8. Access without a subscription. In specific cases (for example, testing, partnerships or help with a problem), we may give access to Radr without a subscription, with or without an end date. This access does not entitle you to keep it after that date.
6. General provisions
6.1. Changes to the terms. We may change these terms, for example when we change Radr or the law changes. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. If the change is relevant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using Radr, cancel the subscription and delete your account. If you keep using Radr after the change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
6.2. Intellectual property. Radr, the brand, the logo, the design, the code, the reading rules and the texts are ours or used under licence. We give you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use Radr while you have an account and comply with these terms.
6.3. What you send us. You remain the owner of what you write in reports and ideas and of the screenshots you attach. You authorise us to use them to answer you and to improve Radr. If an idea of yours inspires an improvement, we may apply it without owing you anything for it.
6.4. Liability. To the extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for decisions you make based on Radr's estimates, or for earnings you miss by accepting or declining a trip;
- we are not liable for what the mobility platforms, the app stores or other third-party services do;
- we are not liable for failures caused by your phone, your internet connection, settings you change or force majeure.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or the rights the law gives you that cannot be excluded by contract.
6.5. End of the relationship. You can stop using Radr whenever you want by cancelling the subscription and deleting your account. We may close Radr or your account in the cases set out in these terms; if we close the service by our own decision, we will tell you with reasonable notice.
6.6. Invalid clauses. If a clause of these terms is found to be invalid, the others remain in force.
6.7. Governing law and jurisdiction. These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute about these terms will be settled by the court of the district of Porto (comarca do Porto), without prejudice to any rules of jurisdiction imposed by law that cannot be set aside by agreement.
6.8. Contact. For any question about these terms, write to us at contact@radr.izing.pt.
