Radr Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24/10/2026

This policy explains what data Radr collects, what it uses it for, who it shares it with and how long it keeps it. It applies to the Radr mobile app and to the websites at radr.izing.pt (including ajuda.radr.izing.pt).

The data controller is Horizonte Soluções LDA, with tax number (NIF) 519346033 and registered office in Porto, Portugal. For any question about your data, or to exercise your rights under the GDPR and other applicable data protection laws (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent), write to us at contact@radr.izing.pt. You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt, or with the data protection authority of the country where you live.

Definitions

  • You or User: the person who creates an account and uses Radr.
  • Radr: the Radr mobile app and the websites at radr.izing.pt, including the Help Centre.
  • We: Horizonte Soluções LDA, the data controller.
  • Personal data: any information about an identified or identifiable person, such as an email address, a phone number or the addresses of a trip.
  • Mobility platform: a third-party app through which you provide transport services and receive trip offers.
  • Suppliers: the companies that process data on our behalf so that we can provide Radr, described by category in clause 5.
  • GDPR: Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation.

1. Data collected

1.1. Personal data

When you create and use your account, we keep:

  • your sign-in methods: the email and phone number you confirmed with a code and, when available, other methods the app shows (in that case, the identifier of that account and the email that service tells us is verified);
  • your profile: your name, the bios you write, the language and the country;
  • your sessions: the model of each phone you sign in on and when you last used it;
  • your plan status: subscription or free trial, product, store, dates and renewal. The payment and card details are handled by the app store where you made the purchase: we never receive them;
  • the dates of your consents.

1.2. Usage data

When the app or a website talks to our servers, we process technical data about the request, such as the IP address, the time, the address requested and the result, to deliver the service, measure how it works and stop abuse. To show the right Help Centre notices, the app sends the country, the Radr version, the versions of the mobility apps and the phone brand, which we do not keep in your account. The “Was this helpful?” feature in help articles keeps only the article, the day and the answer. The Help website counts visits without cookies. The app has no advertising and no third-party tracking tools.

1.3. Data collected during use, with your permission

Accessibility. Only after you read the “Turn on accessibility” notice, tap “Agree and continue” and turn Radr on in your phone's accessibility settings does Radr read the trip offers of the supported mobility platforms, and only theirs: it is limited to those apps and does not receive the content of others. It reads the text of the offer (price, distances, times, pickup and drop-off addresses, stops, tags and the passenger rating, when shown) and an image of that app's screen, which is read on the phone. Some of these images are sent to Radr, as we explain in “Samples to improve the reading”; the others are deleted straight away. Radr does not accept or decline trips and does not tap anything for you. You can turn the reading off whenever you want.

Samples to improve the reading. To improve how offers are read, we may receive some images of the screen of the offers Radr read, with the text and values it read. These images may include data that the mobility app shows, such as pickup and drop-off addresses. We send at most one sample per hour for each mobility platform. We do not set an automatic time limit for these samples: the team reviews whether they are still needed to improve the reading and removes them from the admin panel when they no longer are. Once removed, they can be recovered for 180 days and are permanently deleted at the end of that period. The team can change this period in the admin panel.

Only authorised team members, in a dedicated access group for improving the reading, can open the images. We record each time one is opened for 90 days, without passenger data in that record.

Trip history. Each offer read is stored in the history on the phone and sent to your account: platform, time, price, distances, times, stops, tags, passenger rating, pickup and drop-off addresses, the colour and the calculated values, the app and rule versions and whether you accepted the trip. Of what is read on the screen, we only keep these fields.

Costs. Your vehicle costs and weekly profit goal go to your account when you tap “Save”, so that they come back if you change phones.

What stays only on the phone: your card, voice, bubble and theme choices; the targets, profit %, chosen apps and simulator in Accounts; the notices you closed; and the images you save to the gallery with “Save each offer to the gallery”. If you turn on the app lock, it is your phone's system that checks your fingerprint, face or code.

What we do not collect: your location, your contacts, the microphone and the camera. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for permission on the phone first.

2. How we use the data

We use the data to:

  • create and manage your account, send sign-in codes and keep your sessions;
  • read offers, do the maths, show the card and the colour and read the result out loud;
  • keep the trip history and Costs in your account and show you totals;
  • manage the subscription and the free trial and keep the payment records required by law;
  • answer your reports, ideas and emails, fix problems and improve Radr;
  • protect Radr and the accounts against abuse and comply with the law.

Reports and ideas. When you use “Report a problem” or “Suggest an idea”, we keep what you wrote, the type and severity, the stars, the screenshots you attached (up to 3, optional) and a technical line you see before sending (Radr version, phone model and system, account code and rule version). Screenshots lose their image metadata, including location, before they are sent. Do not include passenger data that is not needed in screenshots.

We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising and we do not make automated decisions with legal effects on you. The colour of the card is only an estimate to help you decide.

3. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes of this policy and to comply with our legal obligations. The trip history has a maximum retention period and is deleted automatically when that period ends. When you delete your account, only the following remain, for as long as necessary: payment records (legal obligations), reports and ideas with their screenshots (so we can follow up on problems), emails exchanged with support and a minimal record that the account was deleted. Backups are replaced in short cycles. Samples to improve the reading follow the period described in clause 1.3.

4. Transfers

Account data and files are stored in the European Union. Some suppliers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example to deliver requests over their network, send SMS or manage subscriptions. This only happens with the appropriate safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision of the European Commission or standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.

5. Disclosure

5.1. Suppliers. We share data only with the suppliers we need, who process it on our behalf and following our instructions: hosting and infrastructure, email, SMS sending, subscription management and, when you use another sign-in method shown by the app, the identity service for that method.

5.2. App stores and mobility platforms. The app store where you made the purchase handles the payment as a data controller, under its own policy. The same applies to the mobility platforms regarding what they process about you.

5.3. Corporate transactions. If the company or Radr is sold, merged or reorganised, the data may pass to the new entity, which will be bound by this policy. We will tell you beforehand.

5.4. Authorities. We may disclose data to courts and authorities when the law requires us to or upon a legitimate and reasoned request.

5.5. Other legal obligations. We may disclose data when necessary to comply with the law, defend our rights or protect the safety of users and of Radr.

6. Security

We use measures appropriate to the risk: encrypted communications (HTTPS), sign-in with single-use codes with short validity and limited attempts, sessions stored in encrypted form, screenshots in private storage and protected administrative access. No system is completely secure. If there is a personal data breach, we will report it to the CNPD and to you under the GDPR.

7. Deleting your data

7.1. Delete the account. In Profile › Settings › Privacy and data › “Delete account”, you delete the account, the sign-in methods, the sessions, the profile, the plan status, the Costs and the trip history, with the exceptions in clause 3. This cannot be undone. Deleting the account does not cancel the subscription: cancel it first in the store where you bought it.

7.2. On the phone. The history and choices stored on the phone are removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall it. Deleting offers in the app only deletes them from the phone. Signing out does not delete the history on the phone.

7.3. Export. With “Export my data” you get a JSON file with your profile, sign-in methods, sessions, plan, consents, Costs, trip history, reports and ideas with their screenshots, and the samples to improve the reading linked to your account, with the images. The images may show other people's data, such as passengers.

7.4. Your rights. Under the GDPR and other applicable data protection laws, you can ask for:

  • access to your data and a copy of it;
  • rectification of incorrect data;
  • erasure, with the exceptions in clause 3;
  • restriction of processing;
  • portability (the JSON export);
  • objection to certain processing;
  • withdrawal of consent, where the processing is based on it.

Write to us at contact@radr.izing.pt. We may ask you to confirm that you are the account holder, and we will reply within the period set by law. If you live outside the European Union, the law of your country may give you additional rights, which you can also exercise through this contact.

8. Links to other websites

Radr has links to third-party services, for example the subscriptions page of the app store or the navigation app you choose when you tap an address. When you open them, the address or other data passes to that service, which handles it under its own privacy policy. We do not control those services.

9. Contact

For any question about this policy or about your data, write to us at contact@radr.izing.pt. If we change this policy in a relevant way, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
